After your appointment

General

Treated areas will appear darker, larger, and more saturated up to one week following your procedure. Do not scrub or pick at your permanent makeup. Doing so may result in the formation of scar tissue. Do not tan, swim, soak, sauna, or exfoliate for one week following your procedure. For up to one week, your procedure is considered an open wound. Please follow Post-Care instructions carefully to ensure proper healing and to greatly lessen the risk of infection. Please do not use anything on your permanent makeup that was not provided or approved by your technician during the healing process.

Eyebrows

Use a cotton swab to apply a thin layer of the provided MicroBalm post-care several times daily, as needed. Keep brows well moisturized. Just a thin layer is needed. More is not always better. If your eyebrows feel tight or dry, it is time to apply more ointment. Slight flaking is to be expected within the first week after your procedure. Wash eyebrows twice daily with lukewarm water and antibacterial soap. Gently pat dry with a paper towel, and reapply MicroBalm. Do not scrub or pick at your eyebrows.

Eyeliner

Use a cotton swab to apply the provided EyeAid To the eyelids several times daily, as needed. If your eyeliner feels tight or dry, it is time to apply more ointment. Just a thin layer is needed. More is not always better. Wash eyelids twice a day with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water. Gently pat dry with a paper towel.

Lips

 Use a cotton swab to apply a thin layer of the provided MicroBalm to your lips. Reapply several times daily. It is essential to keep your lips well moisturized during the healing process. Wash twice a day with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water. Gently pat dry with a paper towel, and reapply MicroBalm.
